THE FLAVOR PROFILE

The Flavor Profile provides readers a way to connect with historical figures by humanizing their stories and allowing them to physically interact with a tasty representation of who they were (or are!)

Social drinking can be an important modern socialization. Readers are encouraged to create the cocktails & connect with the people in their present over a nice drink inspired by the past.

THE CONNECTION BETWEEN PERSONALITY & FLAVOR

“The link between basic tastes and personality is, of course, also firmly embedded in the English language in phrases such as ‘they are such a sweet person’ (Meier et al., 2012), ‘he is so bitter’, or ‘she was very sharp with me’. Just think about it, you would never describe someone as having a ‘grapefruit’ or ‘chocolate’ personality, now, would you? But if you were to describe them as sweet, then you would presumably be taken to mean that they are pleasant, kind, and gentle towards others.”

Taste and memory are linked. You are more likely to remember something is you taste or smell it so the biographies would theoretically leave longer impressions on readers.

Healthy communal drinking inspires social behavior. Young adults mostly use drinking as a reason to get together and socialize. This book will inspire readers to experience the city in current day.

Picking up a mixology book is traditionally more attractive to the average person than picking up a history book
